RSM Financial Pty Ltd was founded by Lucas Smithers through the acquisition of RSM Financial Services Pty Ltd, a well-established financial planning practice specialising in insurance advice. Lucas partnered with two lifelong family friends, whose father established the RSM Group. The RSM Group remains a valuable resource for expert advice on general insurance matters.

Our team, Fintor, consisting of just four individuals initially, built the systems, processes, content, and platform you’re about to experience. Surprisingly, we had no prior website-building knowledge before COVID.

Now, our team has grown to seven members and is expanding rapidly. The only area where we sought external assistance was in enhancing the security framework of our site to align with Australian financial services regulations and security standards. The exciting part is that because our team was responsible for 95% of the site’s construction, we have the agility to swiftly adapt, implement improvements, and cater to your suggestions.
